Changes in the authentication process in Mobile Banking

Dear customers,

 

The safety of provided services is important to ProCredit Bank. To secure your access to the Bank's mobile application and to reduce the risk of fraud, starting from December 20, 2022, an additional authentication factor will be implemented in the mobile application for users who do not have biometric authentication.

 

If biometrics is not activated in the mobile application, in addition to the login and password, you will access the application using the unique TAN code received via SMS, to the phone number registered in the Bank's system. Thus, the 2nd factor of authentication through the TAN code will add an additional level of protection for possible situations of discovery by third parties of the login and password, corresponding to the mobile application.

 

If you want to access the mobile application quickly, easily, and securely, without entering the password and unique TAN code received by SMS, you can activate biometrics directly in the Mobile Banking application:

 

Open the Mobile Banking application

From the “More” menu, in the lower right corner of the Mobile Banking application, activate the biometric authentication button.
