C.B. "ProCredit Bank" S.A. will now be offering its business clients the possibility of making payments in yuan renminbi (CNY) - the national currency of China. The fee for this service is only USD 25, regardless of the amount transferred.  

ProCredit is the first bank in the Republic of Moldova to offer this service, which is designed for clients who import goods from China and make payments in US dollars. The possibility to pay in CNY provides significant benefits for business clients and their partners:

• No additional fees for transfers in USD charged by correspondent banks in the United States of America
• Avoids the costs related to currency conversion witch appear in case of performing payments in another currency than CNY

• Simplification of foreign currency payments made to businesses in China
• Faster booking of funds into the accounts of business partners in China

Given the growth of imports from China by 31.8%* from January to March 2017 (compared to the same period in 2016), we believe that the service will be well received by business clients and will simplify currency operations with China, thus ultimately serving to solidify business relations with partners from China.
