The European Investment Bank funded Filière du Vin Project is aimed at upgrading Moldova’s wine sector.
This project is carried out by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Ministry of Finance and the Public Institution Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs.

- Production of wine of protected geographical indication
- Production of transplants
- Production of grapes as raw material
- Production of unbottled wines
- Treatment of raw material (wine), bottling of wine
- Manufacturing of packaging for wine
- Vineyard planting (technical grades)
- Cutting down of grapevines
- Purchase of land lots, necessary to carry out the investment
- Re-equipment and upgrade of grape and wine production enterprises
- Development of activity by installing bottling lines; opening/renovation of quality control testing laboratories
- Research and development (can include commissions/development costs/gross salaries directly associated with research and development activities)
- Establishment of distribution networks in internal and EU market (purchase of goods and/or trademarks, operational and human resources expenses)
- Purchase of licences, shares, rights to manufacture and other rights granted by a public authority
- Establishment of small businesses in rural areas (wine cellars, wineries)
