Warning regarding investment fraud

ProCredit Bank draws your attention to active investment fraud campaigns recently identified online, which fraudulently use the visual identity of financial institutions in the Republic of Moldova, with the aim of misleading the public and obtaining money deposits.

 

These schemes operate through fake websites, online advertisements, and manipulated content (including fake reviews), collecting personal and contact information. Afterwards, targeted individuals are contacted directly and asked to make initial deposits, followed by repeated requests for transfers under various pretexts.
 

IMPORTANT:

  • The campaigns mainly target Romanian-speaking residents of the Republic of Moldova.
  • Financial losses can be significant.
  • Transactions are often authorized by the victims themselves, which makes the recovery of funds difficult.

 

FOR YOUR SAFETY:

  • Be cautious of investment offers that promise quick and guaranteed profits.
  • Always verify the authenticity of the platforms and entities that contact you.
  • Do not provide personal or banking information on websites or to individuals you do not know.
  • Do not make transfers at the request of alleged “investment platforms” without additional verification.
